About
Divya Ann Abraham is a first-year Ph.D. student specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Crisis Communication. Her research focuses on exploring AI integration through the lens of socio-technical systems theory. Prior to joining BITS in August 2024, Divya earned a Dual Degree Master's in International Development Practice from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and Monash University, Australia (February 2024). She also holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Madras Christian College, Chennai (May 2022). Outside of her academic pursuits, Divya enjoys performing music and spending time outdoors.
